Welcome to the official SHORES HARBOR CLUB website.  The club was formed in 1993 by a handfull of boaters who shared the passion of recreational boating on the Great Lakes.  It all began at the Lac Sainte Claire Harbor in St. Clair Shores Michigan.  Membership was limited to boaters who docked at the harbor.  As the club grew, it became apparent to the officers and board members that in order to continue that growth it would be necessary to expand the reaches of the club.  In 1997 the SHC was admitted into membership in the Anchor Bay Yachting Association (ABYA).  Since joing the ABYA, membership in the SHC is open to boaters (and non boaters) throughout the area.   In spite of the short boating season we have in Michigan, our members keep active year round with a variety of social events including charity work.  If you are interested in becoming a member please contact the webmaster.
